On Tuesday, March 29, 2016, the Alliance for Global Health and Competitiveness hosted an Ambassadors’ Forum. In attendance was Kenya’s Ambassador to the US, Robinson Githae, and Peru’s Ambassador, Luis Miguel Castilla Rubio. Both previously served as their countries’ ministers of finance.
The Ambassadors spoke of the keys to building strong public health systems, which in turn support sustainable and inclusive development and job creation. Both ambassadors discussed the pressing need for capacity building to ensure more effective and efficient healthcare delivery systems.
Participants in this Forum included representatives of major healthcare businesses and nonprofit healthcare organizations.
