The Alliance for Global Health and Competitiveness (AHC) brings together a diverse group of organizations—recognizing the value of sector-wide collaboration and partnership. AHC works with diverse and highly-credible nonprofit and public sector allies to promote strategic investments in healthcare in developing and middle-income countries that drive economic growth and workforce productivity. Our membership includes leading healthcare employers – both for-profit and non-profit, large and small – with a presence throughout the United States and in approximately 160 countries across the globe. For more information about our members, please visit our membership page.
AHC sees an opportunity to improve global health, while stimulating economic growth and job creation, by promoting strategic investments in health solutions across borders. Healthcare is the fastest-growing sector of the U.S. and global economies, a major employer and job creator, and driver of innovation with new medicines, devices, and technologies.
AHC forges new relationships between key actors to advance access to health generally and facilitate concrete partnerships in country. We address gaps in policy research to build the case for healthcare and economic growth, and we convene high-level roundtables to explore the challenges health decision makers face in low- and middle- income countries.
